The District Legal Services Authority, Dibrugarh celebrated the Legal Services Day

The District Legal Services Authority, Dibrugarh celebrated the Legal Services Day today at Dhaman Higher Secondary School in collaboration with Dr. R.K.B. Law College. The event was graced by Sri Abhijit Saikia, Secretary, DLSA, Dibrugarh who explained the significance of the Day. The gathering was addressed with invigorating speeches by Sri S.B. Sarmah, Senior Advocate, Dibrugarh Bar Association and Vice Principal, Dr. R.K.B. Law College who highlighted the sanctity of the occasion and functions of the DLSAs. The event concluded with a short play on a relevant legal topic by the students of Dr. R.K.B. Law College. The event was attended by a large number of students of the School, along with teaching staff, employees and other members of the society. Apart from this event, the Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA, Dibrugarh, namely Smt. Rima Borah, Smt. Hira Saikia and Paimthee Gohain had organized legal awareness meets at Rohmoria, Dhemechi and Naharkatia, respectively.
